Frequently Asked Questions |
*
How
often should my dog be groomed?
Every dog needs regular brushing and combing, but a visit to the
groomer may vary from every 4 – 12 weeks.
* Will my dog be
tranquilized?
We do not tranquilize or sedate dogs.
* If my dog is matted,
does it have to be shaved?
Depending on the severity of the mats, it may be the gentlest way of
ridding your dog of a matted coat; in some cases it may be the only way.
* How often should my dog
have its nails cut?
In order to keep healthy feet and to avoid discomfort, a dog may need
its nails done every 2 – 4 weeks.
* How much will it cost?
Prices are breed specific, and from that may vary depending on coat
condition, style requested, and temperament of the dog.
* Can I stay and watch?
We encourage you to visit our facility and to tour all areas.
However, it is recommended the owner not stay, as your pet will usually
behave better with you out of sight rather than being excited to see you.
* Will my dog be caged?
Your dog will be housed in a crate roomy enough for their size. All
large or geriatric dogs will be held in our roomy indoor/outdoor runs while
waiting for grooming.
* Will my dog be kept by
itself?
Yes, your pet enjoys it's own individual space and each pet is kept
separately. All our 'clients' are required to have all shots kept current,
and we reserve the right to ask for proof of vaccination.
