Emergency Procedures

At Texas Pet Bed & Breakfast we do everything possible to prevent any situations which might be harmful to your pet. However, regardless of precautions taken sometimes emergencies occur. The procedure that we exercise in the event that an emergency occurs is as follows:

1. Call your veterinarian.
2. Call YOU or (if you cannot be reached) the emergency contact person that you have designated.
3. If your veterinarian cannot be reached we have a local veterinarian on call.
4. If for some reason neither of these veterinarians can be reached we will call the 24 hour emergency animal hospital in Carrollton, Texas.
    

Every attempt will be made to provide the care necessary for your pet should an emergency occur. It is important that you leave a phone number where you can be reached or an emergency contact person so that communication between you and the veterinarian can take place in a timely manner.
